Ticket Flipping 101: The Beginner's Guide To Ticket Reselling
There are a handful of side hustles one can do today and this one is a little different than most.
So, what is ticket reselling/flipping?
Throughout your time on social media it’s possible you have seen people that resell items for profit. They buy a toy from Walmart and resell it on Amazon. Ticket flipping is the same business model. We are buying tickets at a lower cost than what we sell them for and going to concerts for free because of it!
When you purchase tickets on VividSeats, Stubhub, Viagogo, Gametime, Seat Geek, etc., you are more than likely purchasing a ticket from a flipper. A ticket flipper ( AKA a broker) buys the tickets for a low value and lists them for sale on those sites for profit. Many times we (brokers) purchase extra tickets for events we want to go to and the profit from the remaining tickets sold covers the cost of the we are using!
Ticket reselling is a billion dollar industry that doesn't cross most people's mind. One of my favorite perks about doing it is the ability to do it from anywhere there is internet. Most tickets are digital now so you don’t need to have a warehouse of products, like flipping on Amazon, to sell or have to worry about packing up your shipments, it’s all on your laptop. Once tickets sell, you transfer them via email and then you get paid!
Now, sit back throw on some Netflix in the background and flip some tickets.

The sourcing for tickets can take place anywhere, 24/7. So if you already have a 9-5, work part-time, or just want some extra money to throw into savings, I believe this guide can help. What would you do with an extra $1,000 a month?
